Powerica IPO: Raises ₹329.40 cr from anchors ahead of March 24 opening

Powerica Limited has completed anchor investor allocations, raising ₹329.40 crore ahead of its much-anticipated IPO opening on March 24, 2026. The issue, which targets a total mobilization of ₹1,100 crore, is priced in the band of ₹375 to ₹395 per share.

The strong anchor subscription signals investor confidence in the company’s fundamentals and growth prospects. Following the anchor round, the IPO will open for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), non-institutional investors (NIIs), and retail investors in subsequent tranches.

This IPO marks a significant step for Powerica as it seeks to strengthen its capital base and fund expansion initiatives. The anchor phase is typically a barometer of IPO demand, and the company’s ability to attract substantial institutional participation suggests positive sentiment in the market.

Investors participating in the retail and NII segments will have their own subscription windows following the QIB round. With an issue size of ₹1,100 crore, Powerica is positioned among the notable IPO offerings in the current market cycle.

Market participants will closely monitor the IPO’s performance on NSE and BSE once listing occurs, as it could provide insights into investor appetite for companies in the power sector.
