On June 25, Dr. Mandavgane went to the Kalwa police station to file an FIR against Sarnaik. However, when he reached the police station, he was confronted by Sarnaik and his supporters. The corporator allegedly abused the doctor and threatened to harm him if he didn’t withdraw the case.
Dr. Mandavgane claimed that he was then assaulted by Sarnaik’s supporters, who also damaged his car and medical equipment. ‘I was beaten up, and my car was vandalized,’ the doctor said. ‘I’m still in shock.’
